Want to integrate your system into our payment gateway? Need to build something robust? Want to verify and accept checks on your iPhone, Android, or other Smart Phone applications? If you answered yes our API is for you!

Application Program Interface

What is an API?

An API allows a computer to speak to another computer. Your programmers set up your system to speak to ours. This allows for flexibility. You can pretty much do whatever you want on your side as long as you follow the instructions for verifying and processing checks using our Application Program Interface and our Terms.

If you need more assistance with this please do not hesitate to contact Customer Service or your Sales Representative. We will be more than happy to explain how this can benefit your company and your bottom line.

Need something easier? Try our Payment Buttons.

API assistance is available through our programming department by appointment only Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST. If you email our programming team their response time is 48-hours or less, not including weekends or federal holidays. All first-time appointments are set by Sales.

If you already have a programmer that can assist you have them take a look at our API Documentation. If the developer has questions about anything in the documentation he/she can reach out to our Sales Department. Sales will set an appointment to speak with a Programmer on our technical team. Our tech team will not discuss API integration with non-technical individuals. That is handled by customer service or sales.

If you do not already have a developer, and you do not have programming experience, you will need to consult with one before moving forward with plans to use our API.

Do We Integrate With

E-Commerce Sites?

Yes. You can use our processing gateway to collect payments on BigCommerce, CS-Cart,

Ecwid, LimeLight, Magento, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Shopifyand WooCommerce. We are already integrated with all of these and we are working on more. You can also use our Developer's Toolkit (SDK) to build your own integrations.

Integrating a 3rd Party System

If you are currently using a 3rd party system to process transactions, such as an e-commerce system or "shopping cart" we do not directly integrate with those services. In order for those types of services to properly work with our platform, they would have to integrate with us. The reason for that is they control their software, not us.

If you would like to use your shopping cart or 3rd party system with your Green merchant account you will need to contact your 3rd party vendor and request that they integrate with Green. If they agree we may assist with the integration, depending on the level of support required.

If you have your own programmer you can always use our PHP SDK to create your own integration App.
